Great suggestions by Tim Gruber, all absolutely essential, and all
easily doable!

I would add 3 items:

1. Link the Midvale and University bicycle lanes and enhanced
University crossing facilities with the Blackhawk bikepath.

2. Link the University bicycle lanes with improved connections to
the Kendall Avenue on-street bike route (signage, lane markings,
etc.)

3. Harmonize these suggestions with the bike/pedestrian plans of
Shorewood Hills and seek participation by the Village of Shorewood
Hills (read: funding). The City of Madison plans for the Hilldale
and Midvale/Tokay urban corridor will be of enormous benefit to
Shorewood Hills and that civic entity should contribute funding,
other incentives and services.
