I just received the first BFW newsletter published since the executive
committee fired the executive director. There is no mention of the firing nor
is there information on the hiring process. I can only assume that most of
the state-wide membership still does not know of the "change." Interesting
that they would not use their own newsletter as a conduit for information
about important issues.

They're hoping that the whole thing just blows over.

I'm hoping that membership remembers the board's collective incompetence
when board elections occur in the fall. One third of the BFW "leadership"
could and should turn over at that time.

Subject: [Bikies] Any news about the Bike Federation?

Hi all,

I am relatively new to this list, but I have observed the confusion around
the firing of executive director Dar Ward with the Bike Federation. Things
seem to have quieted down, but I still do not see any information on the BFW
website about the "new direction" or any information about plans for the
organization for the future. Anyone with a pulse on things know where the
situation at the BFW stands?

-Kirk
