Staff at the Traffic Engineering Division has been aware of this problem for 14 years. Their earlier complaint was that AASHTO (sp?) did have an approved sign for telling murderists to look to the right before turning right on red (after not coming to a full stop, of course). There is the same problem for westbound bicyclists at the intersection of the path with Russell St. Motorists only look to the left, especially since the sign across Eastwood says "One Way" and points east. Apparently bicyclists don't count for much in TE's eyes, or they could have figured out to solve this one in the past 14 years.
