AASHTO, Schm-AASHTO, there's a simple solution to this, or at least a measure
that _might_ help. Replace the "One Way" sign with a "No Left Turn". Signage
would be akin to that in the section of University Ave that has the
"counterflow" lane ("counter" to what, pray tell?...). Yeah, I know,
logistically and engineering-wise, it's a different layout, but to motorists
approaching the intersection, they need to be looking out for the same things
at Russell & Eastwood as any Univ. Ave / counterflow intersection.
