The idea of "coming together" is not a new one.  I have suggested that clear 
communication and providing substantive information would help tremendously.  

On January 29th the BFW news release included the following paragraph:

"The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin board and staff recognize and acknowledge 
the value of its membership. To that end, in 2007 the BFW will hold a series of 
"town hall" meetings throughout the state with its membership regarding 
bicycling issues."

I have not heard of any meetings scheduled to date.
