The Madison Area MPO Rideshare, Etc program, in collaboration with various TDM
agencies locally (including UW Transportation Services) have completed the
production of TV messages for alternative transportation and have scheduled
them for a brief flight on Madison broadcast channels in December. The schedule
is below if you'd like to see them. I believe the MPO is looking for feedback

I'll note too that a proposal has been made for the City of Madison to fund the
airing of the Safe Community Coalition/Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin motorist
education psas (regarding bicyclists) in 2008. This is one of the
recommendations of the Platinum Committee. I'm not sure when the city budget is
final (perhaps it already is), but that is where you'd need to keep an eye on
whether the funding for this gets approved.
And before anyone asks, PSA =Pubilc Service Announcement. These used to get
run for free in the wee hours of the morning, but stations are no longer
required to do so as far as I know. Now it takes a media buy to get them aired
(which allows for better placement anyway).
