Paul Soglin was supportive of our efforts to keep the major bike paths operational (particulary the SW Bike Path) during the winter, although some of his immediate staff questioned the expenditures. We could not/can not provide the service we would like to during and after a storm like we experienced this past weekend. Nor could we plow the streets as well as we would liked, for that matter.
