I think a good place to begin would be an official response (from a
city employee, elected official or citzen member of ped bike or
platinum committee) explaining why sidewalks aren't suitable and why a
network is needed. This could be a chance to get some resources from the WSJ and turn this into a teaching moment. Ann Freiwald wrote:
