Monica: I wasn't singling out runners at all. I see PLENTY of bikers with Ipods a blaring. And riders who are still riding while talking on their Cell phones... don't get me started. they are indeed more dangerous as they are travelling much faster. I was mostly being facetious, but serious at the same time... tho I never assume anything... which translates into: I ride defensively. These days, with the BOOM in bike riding, the paths are a bit clogged so the going is slow. Just as well.The true test will be how many of this year's bike commuting converts are out plowing thru the slop in January.
