Bikies, If this state law is not overturned, a lot of bike lanes in Madison will need to be modified/eliminated because you can't ride in the bike lane and remain 3 feet from the parked cars. This was one of my concerns with adding parking to the square, a prime bike route. I did some observations on the square (don't have the numbers in front of me) after parking was added and I found many people not taking the lane and riding within 3 feet of the parked cars.
