Thanks for the link Eric! Looks like a conviction of a 3rd OWI carries 30-day to 1 year jail term, and a license suspension of 2 to 3 years. I wonder if his exceeding 12 demerit points will add a year.
I forgot to mention that Tracy Sorum was charged with Homicide by Negligent Operation/Vehicle for a crash that killed a bicyclist back in 2005. The trial resulted in a hung jury, and the Assistant District Attorney decided against a retrial.
