1. Hate it when I respond to a message I've gotten in the digest and
forget to change the subject line like I did in the facemask thread.
Oh well, at least I didn't quote the entire digest in my reply.
2. Yes, it's quite amazing to me how much more dangerous the Tokay/
Segoe intersection has become for bikes now that it's a four-way stop.
One has to wonder whether removing all of the signs would make it
safer...
3. I too saw THAT Guy eastbound on the south side of the intersection
of Monroe and Regent last night. As I waited on the sidewalk in front
of the new hotel for the light to change so I could cross Regent, he
just rolled his lightless mountain bike right up to the centerline on
Regent, stopping the westbound traffic so he could cross at his
leisure. My current standard response to these goons is loud, sardonic
heckling along the lines of "Oh, no, you just go ahead. I'll wait
here. You just do what feels good and the rest of us can just go screw
ourselves." I think that's something close to verbatim. It's the wrong
thing to do I'm sure (just ask Colin) but frankly I'm sick of these
people—they're a danger to themselves, others, and most importantly,
to me.
Enroll them in a class? Yeah, that'll happen.

appeared to be yielding the right-of-way to me, yadayadayada).
