Yes, quite offensive.

Subject: Re: [Bikies] Red Light
Cameras Protested in Chicago
Dear Jym Dyer,
Maybe I should quote the sage of this listserv--Kathryn Kingsbury who
coined--"Sometimes its better to leave well enough alone?" --or
addresses people as "dude."
But, I might point out as offensive to some on this sight the choosing
of calling
the "tea party movement" TEABAGGERS. I direct all those
interested to the Wikipedia entry about that term as modern slang. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teabagging
I will not repeat the meaning of "teabagger" on this listserv
since I find such a description offensive in its own right. Obviously
such a description does not bother Jym Dyer or the use of it hopefully
out of
context to describe the national protest for LIBERTY which is sweeping
the
country. In fact the short rant by Jynn Dyer got in more gripes from
the
Left--big oil, free enterprise, and the notion that protesters called
all
government--"jackbooted black-helicopter
government. Buncha revenooers.)"
I will let all judge for themselves if Jym Dyer needs support with his
last
remarks?

=v= They sound like a bunch of teabaggers overall, with tortured
arguments that fines for running red lights become government
"revenue" when they should be spent on "free enterprise." Then
there's this:
| They called for drivers to honk their horns to protest
| communities they say are using the cameras ....
Protest signs suggesting that people honk their support are
nothing new -- there have even been "Honk for Peace" rallies,
which is pretty dumb for protests against oil wars. The idea
of deliberately assaulting communities where red light cameras
are installed is a heinous variant.
=v= (Hmm, since honking horns is itself a violation, deserving
of additional tickets and fines, perhaps these protesters are
secretly working for the eeevil jackbooted black-helicopter
government. Buncha revenooers.)
