Called "Dame's Rocket" -- hesperis matronalis. If you really want to see 
something, go down to Monroe street just east of Glenway (two blocks off the 
path).

Looks similar to phlox, but it's actually a mustard relative -- blooms earlier 
in the spring than phlox, and has 4 petals per flower instead of 5.

Often considered an invasive species...
