Mark, My point is saying that I personally cannot use the duckbill racks *as they were intended to be used* with two of my bikes was to emphasize that I recognize that they do not work perfectly for everyone/every bike.
But that it is still my opinion that duckbills are UW's best option when considering 1) How to maximize capacity, 2) Accommodate the widest range of bikes with a design that supports most bikes in at least two places and accommodates a U lock, and 3) do it for the least amount of money that still meets the first two considerations ...even though I personally have a hard time using them as intended with the two bikes I ride most frequently. chuck ________________________________ From: Mark Shahan Sent: Thursday, August 26, 2010 9:50 PM Subject: Re: [Bikies] bike racks - more info I personally love the duckbill racks.
