To Robbie, Missing so far is the length of this critical Gregory Street.  As we sit on the outside of this story, we are told this is the ONLY STREET THROUGH THIS TOWN--a town existing these days on tourism.  We aren't told whether the buses come from points --Eastbound or Westbound (in railroad talk)?  We aren't even told whether there is space for a buss parking lot--since there is no room for another street?  Again, why cannot the cyclists also be walkers/runners.  At least they are not being asked to SWIM?  Indeed maybe the Obama stimulous could build a San Fran-styled slow cable car? ew ________ Robbie Webber wrote: To: Blackhawk City Manager: Regarding the choice to ban bicycles from Gregory St: Don't you think it might be easier to ban the large tour buses that are causing the congestion? When I served on our local city council, I hated getting emails from out-of-towners that thought they knew how to run our city. So you can ignore me and all the other potential visitors that might come to Blackhawk. However, my understanding is that your economy is built on tourism, so perhaps you care more about non-residents public opinion than I did.
