EEK, _THAT_ god-awful configuration is less than 30 years old? As a relative 
Madison 
"newcomer" ("only" 19 years), I thought it was some hold-over from the days 
when trains 
steamed past every few minutes, and the streets were paved with the dung of 
oxen. Anybody 
know of a reference to a map or photo showing this layout?
