I don't know, but I can testify to the plausibility of your car-left-vs-bike-east scenario. That's how I got the cute little scar on my left leg. Little Triumph going left onto Lake St. didn't see me and I rolled up his hood until I came to rest across his windshield. He could see me really well then. No serious injury.

Circled the area on my bike, but couldn't determine what had happened. Bike laying on the SW curb. Car with flashers on parked headed south on Randall. Bike vs. car? Maybe left turning car failed to yield to eastbound bike? Anyone know?
