I have a dinotte headlight with a helmet mount that works very well. Plus, the light pops on and off easily (it's held to the mount with a single o-ring) so it's easy to switch between handlebar and headlight mount. The little plastic mount and nylon battery pouch are always strapped to my helmet though - I just take the light & batteries off the mount.
