Let us know how this works for you. The following is trivia knowledge for those on the list who care about federal traffic control standards (the MUTCD). This is no longer called a HAWK (Tucson's name for this when they developed it). Now that it has official federal sanction, it is know as the Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon. The one at Mifflin and Blair is modified with the addition of a bicycle signal for Mifflin Street (we have federal approval to experiment with the bicycle signal), so we are calling it a Pedestrian & Bicyclist Hybrid Beacon.
