I think I saw one the other day, at Reynolds Park -- it was attached to a bunch of heart-shaped balloons at the Occupy Madison encampment. It was was after dark, of course, and the light was pretty impressive.
But I'd have mixed feelings about using it as a bike light. If one or two bikes had it, they'd be very visible. If EVERY bike had Bike Glow, the visual noise might make it hard to make out an individual bike. And that could be dangerous. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andy Bach" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, October 11, 2011 11:06:41 AM Subject: Re: [Bikies] "Bike Glow"? Interesting pics http://www.bikeglow.com/customer_images but it almost looks too novel to be really effective, though I suppose along w/ a set of "real" lights blinking away, you might still look like a bike and not a UFO or something. -- a Andy Bach, [email protected] 608 658-1890 cell 608 261-5738 wk _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org
