Bikies - I sent the message below to a national list, but thought some
folks here might also find it interesting. If you have been biking in the
mountains in CO, you might be familiar with the case.


Didn't see this on the list, so thought people would want to know. That's
one for the good guys.

For those not familiar with the case - and those more familiar with the
situation can correct me or fill in more details - the town of Black Hawk
banned bicycles from the main street in town because they felt it was too
dangerous. Really, they probably just wanted to keep the bicyclists from
impeding the buses that deliver tourists to the casinos.

There really is no alternate route in this mountainous area, so bicyclists
sued.
