I am super happy that there is a renewed push for bike lanes on Sherman and welcome the chance to counter any naysayers on this effort. This is a great part of the city that is often not appreciated, Part of why we did not look for a house near Sherman when we moved back to Madison was the utter failure to accommodate bikes and peds in this corridor.
Also let's try to not shift the speedsters and push the negative impacts to other streets - we should support managing speed on this road. There are houses, businesses, a park and a dog park along Packers. Madison B-Cycle's offices are also on Packers.
