WA is gearing up to consider a roads-roads-roads transportation bill and a Seattle dem, chair of the transportation committee has proposed a $25 tax on new bicycles costing >$500 as part of it. But she says she doesn't support it herself. I'm not clairvoyant, but I do have stupid-good sources- I read about it here:
