You're correct. Path ends at the north end of the bridge right next to Culvers.
Plan is to continue alongside the rail lines, along the edge of the Arboretum to Fish Hatchery and the city is still working on securing the agreements to make this happen, as I understand it. I'm interested to know what the idea is from there. The (much improved) bike lane on Fish Hatchery is still not inviting and I can't imagine casual users feeling comfortable using it to get downtown. It's consistently filled with debris (especially glass) and car traffic moves at a steady 40 mph. Using the wide sidewalk along the east side of the road might be an option for some, but should really be widened and striped if this is the intent. It's used heavily by pedestrians and students and doesn't really accommodate bike through-traffic as it is right now.
