I put together a web map that identifies all of the street segments with an average slope > 5% in Dane County. Some hills may be under-represented because the map displays the average slope over the course of the particular street section (usually 1 block). Also, there may be some unreasonably high values near bridges and lakes due to inaccuracies in the elevation model, but it still works well to identify the biggest slopes.
