Last year, I recall seeing information about the Eau Claire/Old Middleton area on the city's bike projects website. I asked my alderman, Mark Clear, who responded below in April of last year. I can no longer find the project information on the that site. Perhaps Mark can chime in with an update on this potential project.
The path will be extendedto Whitney Way, which is the first phase of a long-term plan to extend it allthe way to Middleton. Second is that a dedicated bicycle left turn lane will beadded to east bound Old Middleton at Eau Claire. I'll check to find out whetherthese items have been designed yet and whether there are other improvementsplanned. If you have suggestions, please let me know.
