A few days ago most of the Cap City trail south of Madison, and the SW path
continuing back into Madison from the Cap City trail intersection, was
treacherous for biking without studded  or other tires that do well on ice.
The temperature was in the 33-35 degree range.  The trails looked wet but not
icy, which is what they were for the most part, BUT, there were some stretches
that looked the same, even though they had a thin ice film.  A little dicey
with my fair weather bike.

 Subject: [Bikies] Trail conditions

Friends
Weather looks pretty nice tomorrow and I was hoping to get out for a ride. Does
anyone know the conditions of the Madison-area trails, specifically the
Cannonball, SW path, Badger State, and Cap City trails? I'm pretty sure the SW
path is plowed, but not sure on the others.
Thanks!
