MR south of Cottonwood has 1-2" of snow crusted ice right now. Pretty rideable in sections with other sections having some significant ruts. I ended up opting for Nesbitt/Cross Country at Fitchrona as the ruts were solid and squirrelly enough to make things less than optimal for 40c tires. 3-4" tires would probably make for a pretty comfortable ride.
