I am very saddened to hear that the woman involved with the Raymond Road bike-car accident has died. These kinds of accidents are so preventable. I am disappointed that more attention isn't afforded to accommodating/recognizing all forms of travel and --at the least-- incorporating better signage to modify some behaviors.
There are many scary roadway crossings in my neck of the woods which need to be examined and altered. I'm afraid there will continue to be these horrible accidents until we look at these intersections as a place where two legitimate modes of travel meet and appropriate infrastructure is built as a response.
