From a city press release this morning:
Speedway Sand & Gravel will begin reconstruction of North Eau Claire
Avenue between Old Middleton Road and Regent Street on Friday, July
17th. Northbound North Eau Claire Avenue will be closed to all
traffic. Southbound North Eau Claire Avenue will remain open to one
lane of traffic. All parking will be removed. Construction is expected
to last until mid-September.
The press release did not mention any detours or alternate routes.

to translate them to understand the impact they will have on using this route. Can
anyone on the list provide guidance as to how this construction will impact bicycling on
Eau Claire Avenue, which is a designated bike route and important connector with the
