It looks like there's a fair amount of space north of the B-Cycle building. I'm not sure what exactly Engineering has in mind, but it looks like you could run a bike path to the intersection without displacing tiny houses OR parking spaces.

Yes, I was aware that Bcycle is located there. Why would a bike sharing facility need 30 parking stalls? Didn't read Brenda's post, but by looking at the map, the path will line up much better if it goes through the parking lot behind the tiny village on neighboring property instead of the village. There will still be plenty of parking lot left. Since we have an excess of parking lots, and this neighborhood has plenty of street parking, it seems a no-brainer. Here's Brenda Konkel's take on the subject: http://www.forwardlookout.com/2016/01/plan-commission-hostility-to-hearing-from-the-public/24666 . I generally favor bike paths, but not at the cost of making some people homeless again, and hamstringing an initiative that is a national model for housing homeless people. Isn't there some way to route the path without gutting the tiny house village? _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org
