Thanks Andy - I would be happy to try the new beta version. Knowing my luck I won't have got any other servers to work within the next few days anyway :-)

Hi all,
I've been tinkerig with configure again and I'm sorry to report I'm
still not able to get it to see the openssl libs in /usr/local/lib. I'll
carry on trying today but if I cant get it to work in a few days I'm going
to have to abandom the bincimap effort and see if I can get another imap
server to work. It shouldn't be this hard.. :-(

Your problems are caused by the -lsocket library, which isn't searched for
in Binc IMAP. The tricks we've been applying have been to try and see if
you could get a compiled version running without having to wait for a new
version.

The next version will have a fix that allows you to get an as-clean
compile as everyone else.

I'm about to release 1.2.7beta1. I hope you can try this, and that we can
see if we can get it all to work on your system.

Andy :-)
