Thanks Andy you kick ass but it started working, and you know binc once you get her going she never stops. Just working on the checkpassword thing now yeh got that going too. What really bothers me though is how when you create a new user you have to go into there Maildir and do a
rm -rf INBOX
ln -s . INBOX
is there something i am missing in my config file or is that just the way things gotta be

What time is there? Here it is nearly 5am and i gotta sleep something is still broken with checkpassword talk to you tommorow

THANKS A BUNCH

There is know reason i am just wining because i cannot get it to work. Dont get me wrong i think BINC is a great server and once i document all the steps required to make it work then it will be easier to install next time. If it would help i could submit my docs to you for FreeBSD users. v22.computerking.ca > /home/rmvg #svstat /var/service/imaps/log
/var/service/imaps/log: up (pid 212) 26 seconds
Do not see anything in my /var/log/messages about binc so i do not think it is set up for syslog.

Okay ;-). Have you tried restarting the multilog process? It may be hanging for some reason. Also, try

strace -s 128 -f -p <pid of bincimap-up>

after connecting, then just disconnect and post the output of strace to this list. SSL or not, isn't important.

Andy :-)
