Hi, Andrea.
This log reveals the client bug:
ASC1003 OK LOGIN completed
That line shows that we are in AUTHENTICATED state.
ASC1004 LIST "" % * LIST (\Marked) "/" "INBOX" ASC1004 OK LIST completed ASC1005 CLOSE * NO The command "CLOSE" is not supported.
The CLOSE command is issued in the AUTHENTICATED state, but CLOSE is only available in SELECTED state, which is why Binc complains.
Otherwise, the activity in this log is normal. I can't see why the client sends CLOSE at this point, but the client author/community should be informed.
This also happens in Opera for lost connections: it seems to expect the state state after re-authenticating and then ignores the "* NO The command ...." and then hangs.
