In fact, Henry's suggestion could go into 1.2 under the argument that it's a bug, and since it's 100% backwards compatible. The first unqualified argument to Binc IMAP is the depot path. Qualified arguments must override unqualified arguments though. This feature would appear invisible to anyone (like me) who don't like the idea of rewriting arguments, but it would keep 100% compatibility with vmailmgr and qmail-pop3d, which is very important. So all win, no lose. I'll try to see how little we can change in 1.2.7 to get away with a fix like this; perhaps we can get it into 1.2.8.
