Maybe :-), but it doesn't work without the patch Andreas send to the
list. I have just tried with path = Maildir in
bincimap.conf, and no maildir parameter after bincimapd in
the run file. It fails. I cannot explain why. I've only got it to work
like I wrote in the Wiki

And no wrapper?

Anyway, could you please run it again for us and send us the strace and log file so that I can figure out why it is not working as posted?

I think I like the better documentation more. I don't think that a
checkpassword program should decide how varios daemons should be configured
