Hello, I'm new to BincIMAP, so forgive me if this is an obvious question (I've searched the old list archives - the new ones on bincimap.org seem to be down, and I've searched Google without finding my answer).
I recently installed BincIMAP 1.2.7final (from Debian), and am using it with vpopmail and qmail on the server side and mutt 1.5.6 (among several others) on the client side. With mutt in particular, I have noticed an irritating behavior that I was hoping someone had a solution for. Namely, if I read a mail, then mark it as deleted (in mutt), then a new mail shows up, and I try to synchronize the mail flags before reading the new mail, I get a short error message about EXPUNGE failing, and I am disconnected from the IMAP server. When I attempt to reconnect, I get an error message about an "unexpected ? EXPUNGE OK", and am disconnected again. Only on the third reconnection do I actually get back into my INBOX. Am I the only one to experience this behavior? Is there a solution that other people have found? A workaround, maybe, either in mutt or Binc? This situation happens frequently to me, and didn't used to be a problem when I was using Courier-IMAP. Many thanks, ~Kyle -- All men by nature desire to know. -- Aristotle
