Kyle,

I have going to have to defer this one to Andy. I can't find EXPUNGE anywhere in the trace, nor can I find any other errors.

If Andy can't find anything, I will set up mutt in my lab and start a more detailed investigation.

This sounds like a new problem. Could you please post a protocol dump
(see http://lifewithbincimap.org/index.php/Main/ProtocolDumping) to the
list (or to a your web site and send us the link). The relavent log files
might also be helpful to see what BincIMAP thinks is happening.

Sure thing. Here's a "recordio" trace of what happens: http://www.memoryhole.net/~kyle/fullcurrent

It's a bit long because it takes about 5 minutes or so to get it into
the right state, but I quit right after doing my 3-reconnect dance to
get mutt happy again, so that part should be at (or close to) the end.

If some other kind of trace might help, I can try something else.
