Well, what it essentially means is: vchkpw seg-faulted. First, do you use softlimit in your bincimapd run file? perhaps vchkpw is trying to allocate more memory to fetch that stuff out of mysql than you're allowing it to, and it doesn't do sufficient error checking to give you a good error message.
