Hi Siddhartha, I've installed RProtoBuf on malbec1. As you can see from the clean Windows build, tokays1 already has the necessary system dependencies. There is no El Capitan Mac binary for RProtoBuf
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/RProtoBuf/index.html so we may be installing this from source. I'll talk with Herve about it but in the meantime it may fail on the Mac (veracruz1).
