xquartz is already installed on the system and tested that it is functioning
properly.

This tends to occur when the Cairo binary has not been built yet for the devel
version of R.
https://www.mail-archive.com/bioc-devel@r-project.org/msg10538.html

From the Cairo landing page, indeed the R-devel MAC binary is not available.
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/Cairo/index.html
This ERROR can be ignored for now and will clear up once the binary becomes
available.
I will let your reviewer know so this will not hinder your review process on
the Single Package Builder.

Subject: [Bioc-devel] Cairo dependency problem in the OSX machine

Hello all,

Recently, a package I submitted to Bioconductor failed with an
error message in the OS X system.

This is the link for the build:
http://bioconductor.org/spb_reports/PubScore_buildreport_20191208212325.html#celaya2_buildsrc_anchor

The problem was with the Cairo package, which is a dependency of "plotly":
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/plotly/index.html

Stack Overflow says that if I owned the Mac, I should install xquartz,
which doesn't come anymore built in the OS X system.

Any suggestions of how I can proceed?
Best and thanks,
Tiago
