I added a section on the wiki, pointing to your software/samtools page as well as to the relevant Hackage page. I notice you made category be "Bio" instead of "Bioinformatics" - was that intentional? Also, I can't build it on my default Ubuntu install due to it dependending on base > 4.3 (I have 4.2). Is there a particular reason for this, or is it just conservative? I'll try to lower the dependency and see how it works out anyway :-) Oh, one more thing: am I right in thinking that there is no way to identify some particular read's mate? I know I can get its offset iff it is aligned to the same reference sequence, but even then I don't think I can tell which read it is, and if it is unmapped or mapped to a different reference, there's basically no information? Anyway, thanks for contributing, for the good work, and especially for the documentation provided. -k -- If I haven't seen further, it is by standing in the footprints of giants _______________________________________________ Biohaskell mailing list Biohaskell@biohaskell.org http://malde.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/biohaskell
