I noticed that JAXP has come out since the last time I handled this code. Does StAX work with the preferred JAXP 1.0 style of XML parsing yet (ie. DefaultHandler or HandlerBase derived adaptor class)? If so, I really should do it in the new style rather than the old way of doing SAX parsing.
