The Peregrine pair at the Bell Telephone Building located at the northeast corner of Pharmacy and Eglinton in Scarborough have mated several times in the last few days. If you do not see the birds perched on the building, look in the trees. They commonly perch on tree branches and atop nearby telephone poles!

Then follow Jane north until it ends at Woodcutter's = Lane. This is my first March record for Great Egret in Ontario. In, or near, Bronte Harbour there are 30 Red-necked Grebes. A few are in the harbour itself and acting a territorial manner. Directions: The egret is in the pond on the west side of Bronte Creek just north of Lakeshore Rd. Access is possible from Triller Court. I saw it from our living room. Bronte Harbour is at the foot of Bronte Rd. which has an exit from the QEW in Oakville. Gavin Edmondstone Oakville, Ontario
