Weather:
Rain showers, heavy at times until 9:30 then mostly cloudy until mid
afternoon. Brisk S-SW winds decreasing after noon. Overcast and cool until
mid watch when the sun started to poke through, the winds died and it
became decidedly warm on the tower.

Raptor Observations:
When the rain quit the sharpies started moving but the highlight of the day
was the 19 Peregrines that made their way South along the beach.

Non-raptor Observations:
30,310 Blue Jays were counted along with 370 Goldfinches and 150+ tree
swallows.

Predictions:
The forcasters say that patchy fog in the morning will give way to sunny
skies for the majority of the day. Winds will start out of the ENE and
veer to the S by the end of the watch. It will be cool in the morning but
decidedly warm for early October by late morning.
