Hello,

Today, Lise and I travelled to Newboro; we saw a lone Trumpeter Swan,
resting on the ice in the narrows. It was keeping company with maybe a dozen
Mallards. On highway 42 leading into the Narrows, we saw a Northern Goshawk
watching over a meadow of mixed trees and overgrown hay. Entering Smiths
Falls on highway 43 and the town's limit, there was a mature Bald Eagle
sitting by the waters. The Red-tailed Hawks are becoming more numerous,
counting seven from Kempville into Ottawa. We saw two sitting side by side
on the corner of Roger Stevens and the 416. A little farther down Roger
Stevens towards Moodie Drive, there was a Coopers Hawk, hunting from a tree
next to the road, this was our second Coopers Hawk of the day, the first one
was right in the down of Kempville. Last but not least, a mix of different
types of gulls were moving over Trail Road, off of Moodie Drive, I was able
to capture some great shots of Iceland Gulls.

Cheers,

Brian
