Hello everyone: This report comes on behalf of Keith Lee (Tiny).

What a beautiful morning at Brighton's Constructed Wetland! I shall list everything as it was seen. Many, many Cedar Waxwing, Catbird, the boisterous Marsh Wren, Blue Jays, the Trumpeter Swan (Oscar), many Killdeer, a large number of Lesser Yellowlegs, Least Sandpipers, Solitary Sandpiper, Semi-Palmated Sandpiper (Fred Helleiner), many Mallard (both young and adult), Common Yellowthroated Warbler, Green-wing Teal,Gadwall, Wilson's Snipe, Moorhen, Blue-wing Teal, Kingfisher, Spotted Sandpiper, Short-billed Dowitcher, Wood Ducks, young Black Ducks, Rubythroated Hummingbird, Barn and Tree Swallows, Goldfinch, Chickadees, Virginia Rail (Fred Helleiner), Greater Yellowlegs (Fred Helleiner), Northern Shoveller and Purple Martins.

What a treat to see both Owen and Howard from Napanee.

Enjoy - Maureen

Directions: The Constructed Wetland is located at the SE corner of
Brighton. From Hwy 401, take the Brighton exit 509 (Hwy. 30) and follow
it south into town. Go south through the two traffic lights, over
the railway tracks and follow the main road, now called Prince Edward
Street, south. About 1 km south of the tracks, the main road begins
to swing to the left and becomes Cty. Rd. 64. As this long turn
ends the Constructed Wetlands appear on the right side.
