Took a drive down this am, took a couple of hours, wasn't disappointed.

Directions:

 Take Carling westbound and go past Andrew Haydon Park.  Continue on
Carling past Moodie Drive and turn right on Grandview.  Continue to end of
Grandview and turn left on Hastings.  Continue along Hastings and about 50
yards  before reaching the end of Hastings there is a short-cut on the
left side (across the road 17 Hastings) into the NCC fields where the Hawk
Owl can usually  be seen.

Another good route from Kingston is Hwy 401, up Hwy 15 to Smith Falls.
Heading towards Ottawa which is well signed,turn off on Moodie Drive left
at the lights and head down carling and turn right on Grandview.  Continue
to end of Grandview and turn left on Hastings.
