After the Phainopepla was rediscovered at 92 Addington Crescent at around 3:30 p.m., it disappeared behind the houses to the north. I re-found it in front of 17 Aberdeen Crescent where it dove into a yew bush under the house number. There it was present for about 1 hour, giving mostly challenging looks and only infrequently, when it decided to eat a few berries. It then flew out into the top of a maple tree directly to the southwest (between Addington and Aberdeen) at about 4:30 p.m.. That's when I called it a day. Perhaps others there can say what happened afterwards.
Good luck, Karl Directions to the area courtesy of Glenn Coady.
